It cheered me up coming back here and finding some comments on my last post; makes the universe feel a bit less empty ;-)
Anyway, this dropped through the door this morning, and I've finally had a chance to play it. I think this is the game I've been waiting for my entire life...
I loved the Lego Star Wars games. I know I'm too old, I know it's geeky - but there's something about that Lego universe that makes you wish you were 5cm tall and made of yellow plastic. Or is that just me?
I've been a big Indy fan since I got the DVD box set a few years ago, so I was really looking forward to seeing the new film. I know a lot of people put it down. I know it could never live up to the 'classics'. I know that my opinion won't count because I'm not old enough to have seen the originals on zoetrope. But I liked it. Sure, some of the effects were a bit cheesy, sure Harrison's past his best and sure the plot wasn't the deepest in the world, but what did you expect?!? It's just a fun film - not everything has to be a mind-bender y'know.
Well, goodnight!

I've never been a fan of the Indy films. I find them a bit too silly, and my disbelief remains unsuspended.
