So...

Welcome to Cambridge.

I've just kind of landed here from a more Southerly part of the country. My dad's job moved up this way and so we've all gone with.

On the positive side, it was nice to be able to escape from school early now all the exams are over; but I'm going to miss all my friends.

On the negative side; what's up with this county? Where are all the trees and hills? There's just miles and miles of horizon and fens and fields and ditches. And it's sooo windy. I'm glad I brought all those skirts.

I'm sitting in my room in the middle of piles and piles of boxes at the moment. I wanted to start this blog just to keep a record of having my life uprooted(!), so my friends can see how I'm getting on.

I'll write something a bit deeper and/or more interesting when I've finished getting everything unpacked.
